IIBA.org Global Tour – Connecting and Engaging the Local Community
The IIBA® Global Tour provides an important opportunity for the international staff to connect with you at local events and engage the community. Following the successful 2015 tour, IIBA has launched a follow-up tour in 2016.

Thank you to all of the Chapters that have requested participation, presentations and events in your local communities. We are excited to be able to join and support your efforts.

Recently, the IIBA Senior Leadership Team traveled to India. During their time, IIBA had the opportunity to participate in the very successful BA Convention. IIBA met with representatives from the local Chapter; celebrated the launch of a new MOU; and connected with practitioners and stakeholders from across the BA community. In addition, IIBA met with numerous corporations, including Accenture, IBM, Microsoft, Forrester, CGI and UST Global to discuss the growing demand for business analysts across India.

Here are some of the recent highlights from our tour stop in India.

IIBA was pleased to meet with Paramantapa Dasgupta, Program Manager with IBM India. IIBA hosted Thought Leadership Forums to gain insight from thought leaders across the globe.

Alain Arseneault, Director, Corporate and Business Development, shared exciting information about the new IIBA certification framework with attendees at BA Convention.  During a special facilitated session led by Ashish Mehta, Director, IIBA Board, Dr. Sandhya Chintala, Vice President NASSCOM and Executive Director IT-ITeS Sector Skills Council NASSCOM (SSC NASSCOM); Stephen Ashworth, President and CEO, IIBA; and Jon Buttriss CEO, BCS LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT LTD. explored the transformation taking place across the business community and the important role business analysis plays.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to Ashish Mehta, IIBA Board Director, as well as our local Chapters for their work in making the global tour stop such a success.

Next stops on the Global Tour include Romania and England to engage our local Members, Corporate Members, Chapters and other important stakeholders. Be sure to follow us on Twitter for the latest updates from these Global Tour stops.
