IIBA.org Celebrate International Volunteer Day - December 5th
On Monday, December 5th, IIBA® will recognize our amazing volunteers on International Volunteer Day. This year's theme is #GlobalApplause. As an international professional association, IIBA engages over 1,500 volunteers globally who are committed advocates for creating better business outcomes.

With well over 100,000 hours of volunteer engagement this year - we absolutely want to recognize the contributions and great outcomes of our volunteers.

Most recently our volunteers have committed their time and dedicated their knowledge to the enhanced certification program, the Agile Extension and Competency Model Update. Here's what a few of our volunteers had to say about their volunteer experience:

Sunil Bridgelall, CBAP, CRISC, MBA, VP Capabilities & Delivery, IC Group LP - “Thanks so much for this.  I am greatly honoured to have been able to help in a little way.  I truly believe the IIBA can grow and become a destination, resource, and great organization for the BA community worldwide. Let me know if there is anything else you all need. Always willing to lend a hand.”

Alain Boisvert, CBAP - “Thank you very much for the wonderful email. It was a great pleasure working with the IIBA on the review of the Level 2 exam, meeting some of my peers, and contributing to this initiative. You can put my name down if you require other volunteer work with the Institute, I will gladly get involved again.”

Ashok Immanuel - “My heartfelt thanks to the IIBA and the CEO, Mr. Stephen Ashworth, Beth Kalinowski and you. I am honoured and grateful to have been given this opportunity to contribute.  I would be glad to be involved in more such initiatives or opportunities with the IIBA. Feel free to reach out to me for any more opportunities.”

Bindu Channaveerappa - “Thank you so much for the acknowledgement. It is always a pleasure to work with like-minded professionals in the industry. The experience was enriching and interesting to know how much effort goes into the preparation of the questions and I do look forward to volunteer in any future opportunities.”

A warm thank you goes out to the Volunteer Chapter Network who work tirelessly behind the scenes, creating and leading task forces in many areas and providing support to our Chapter Leaders. In addition to the guidance Chapter Leaders provide to local Members, we also want to recognize some great work that has been accomplished by our Chapter Leaders with a recent initiative for Chapters Helping Chapters.

Additionally, we are thankful to those who have dedicated so many hours of leadership to our staff and Members through our IIBA Board of Directors.

While giving volunteers #GlobalApplause for their contributions, we also want to encourage everyone who has not yet volunteered to join in and take part!
