IIBA has introduced a new AI assistant in the KnowledgeHub to enhance how members engage with its content. Using cutting-edge AI technology, powered by Microsoft's Azure OpenAI, it sources information exclusively from IIBA publications, standards, and carefully selected resources. It’s currently in beta to collect real-time usage data from IIBA’s business analysis community.
The AI assistant is designed to provide quick, relevant responses to business analysis queries with citations that integrate IIBA’s standards and related assets. Informed by the comprehensive materials available in IIBA’s KnowledgeHub, it’s a conversational experience that provides AI-generated responses aligned with established standards and practices.

The AI assistant is not intended to replace study materials for IIBA certifications. It’s designed to assist with everyday business analysis-related queries and tasks, using the KnowledgeHub. Please refer to IIBA’s Certification Handbooks for details on preparing for exams. 

The AI assistant is a member-only feature available within IIBA’s KnowledgeHub. Access to the beta AI assistant is granted through a secure KnowledgeHub login. Once logged in, you can access it from the KnowledgeHub homepage and main navigation.

The beta version of this feature doesn’t store any queries or chat history. For additional information on the security and privacy of your data, refer to the IIBA Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
Members can easily provide feedback by clicking the thumbs-up or thumbs-down buttons in the top right navigation while using the tool. We value your input and encourage you to share your experiences, report any issues, and suggest improvements to enhance the chatbot's capabilities.
The beta AI assistant undergoes regular updates to improve its performance, enhance capabilities, and address user feedback. Any updates are scheduled to ensure minimal disruption to user experience.
In the beta release, the AI chatbot won’t retain any data. That said, it’s best practice to refrain from sharing personal or sensitive information with any AI chatbots. Also, its responses may contain errors, as with all AI tools. Verify all the information it provides before relying on it.
The AI chatbot can handle a wide range of business analysis queries, including concepts, techniques, tasks, scenarios, templates, and more. The assistant’s output will depend on how queries and follow-up questions are crafted. The AI assistant is not authorized to make any legally binding statements.
Yes, currently the beta release of the KnowledgeHub's AI assistant primarily supports interactions in English. While it excels at understanding and responding to queries posed in English, it may not perform as effectively when processing questions in other languages. Please note, that we are constantly working to improve and expand the capabilities of the AI assistant.
