There are around 800,000 cyberattacks annually—a number that’s expected to rise in the coming years.

Amid cybersecurity's growing importance, professionals in business analysis have emerged as pivotal figures in the fight against cyber crime. That’s because they help businesses adapt to the quickly evolving cybersecurity landscape and better mitigate cyber risks. Business analysts also strengthen cyber environments, contributing to the digital resilience of businesses—a role that will only become more significant.

According to The Wall Street Journal, 66% of CIOs interviewed in a recent survey plan to increase their investment in cybersecurity. But it’s not just businesses that benefit from cyber resilience.

Every October, Cybersecurity Awareness Month reminds us to prioritize cybersecurity not only in corporate spaces but also in our everyday digital interactions. This year's theme, Secure Our World, underscores the need to shield yourself, your family, and your organizations from online threats. It empowers everyone to engage in cybersecurity and safeguard their online activities, regardless of the circumstances.

In celebration of IIBA's 20th anniversary and Cybersecurity Awareness Month, we've compiled a collection of our top cybersecurity talks. Check them out to enhance your everyday business analysis practices and personal cybersecurity know-how.
