Volunteers with Business Data Analytics Experience Needed

IIBA is seeking volunteers to contribute to the new Business Data Analytics Guide.  This opportunity is ideal if you are currently in a position that involves performing data analytics or have held a position with this responsibility.

A small team at IIBA® is collecting information in written format as well as graphics that can be published as part of an online portal to provide guidance and information about how to perform business data analytics.  Specific requests will be asked of you to tell your story or share your experience or give your best advice.

Time Commitment: This project team will involve 2 to 3 hours of your time for each deliverable, and ongoing support is available from the team.

You will receive credit if your contribution is published, and appreciation from IIBA for your input! As well, you can earn CDU hours for certification/recertifying.

How to ApplyPlease send a message to volunteer@iiba.org, include that you want to work on the Business Data Analytics Guide (BDA) and attach your resume.  Our BDA Product Manager will contact you for the next steps.

CBAP Certified Volunteer Assessors Needed

We are currently in need of volunteer assessors to review courses and programs submitted to us for endorsement by Endorsed Education Providers (EEP ™) and Academic institutions. Utilizing a web-based form, assessors would review course and program submissions to ensure the course or program meets our standards and aligns with the BABOK® Guide v3. Assessors would then either provide their approval for a course or program, or otherwise offer feedback to the EEP/Academic Program Managers as to why a certain course or program may not meet the requirements for endorsement. Once a course or program has been approved, the EEP or Academic institution will be granted the ability to advertise the endorsement.

Courses or programs are forwarded to assessors on a weekly (or sometimes bi-weekly) basis. Depending on the volume, Assessors can expect to spend 1-2 hours per week in this endeavor.

Requirements for this volunteer opportunity:

  • Must be a current and active member in good standing with IIBA
  • Must have your CBAP® designation and provide CBAP® Number
  • Must not be affiliated with an active EEP or Academic member
  • Must agree to the Volunteer Terms and Conditions (as outlined below)

Benefits of this volunteer opportunity:

  • Earn CDUs from your volunteer hours for recertification
  • Help shape the profession by ensuring endorsed courses meet proper standards
  • Leverage personal expertise and apply it in a non-traditional function
  • Be a leader in the BA field

How to ApplyPlease send a message to volunteer@iiba.org, include that you interested in the EEP/Academic Assessor opportunity and attach your resume.  We will contact you for the next steps.
