Ukraine and Eastern Europe Statement
On behalf of the global IIBA community, the business analysis profession, and all of our members around the world, we stand in support with the people of Ukraine in the wake of the Russian government’s decision to invade their country and the tragic crisis that has resulted from this action.
We are a community of those who deliver outcomes, and so we will model that in our response:
- IIBA will match staff donations to Medicins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders). They are actively working inside Ukraine and in bordering countries to address urgent medical and humanitarian needs. Please join with us, if you can: www.msf.org
- IIBA has suspended our commercial program operations in Russia and Belarus to join international efforts to stop economic transactions with both countries.
- IIBA will continue to actively monitor recommendations by governments working to resolve this crisis effectively and align further actions with their guidance.
- IIBA will continue to do our best to support all of our members around the world, collectively focusing on the communities facing such hardships due to recent events.
