At the January 2017 IIBA^® Board Retreat, Michele Maritato, CBAP, acting Chair was voted Board Chair, replacing Ken Fulmer who stepped down as Chair in December 2016 to accept the role of President and CEO with IIBA. Since 2012, Michele has served on the Board of Directors of IIBA. He has over 20 years’ experience in business analysis and related disciplines and has been a speaker at over 50 International congresses. Michele is a partner of PMProgetti in Milan, Italy.

 

Barbara Carkenord, CBAP was selected by the Board to serve as Vice-Chair. As an early IIBA Member, Barbara worked on the development of the worldwide standard for business analysis, the BABOK^®Guide. Her focus on critical thinking and increasing business value drove her to help define the business analysis profession. Barbara is Director of Business Analysis at RMC Learning Solutions in Minnetonka, Minnesota. In 2010, she was named the Small Business Woman of the Year by the Georgia Women in Technology. 

 

Working closely with the Board of Directors this year, IIBA plans to continue to grow membership, enhance Member benefits and continue to nurture strategic alliances and industry relationships to support the BA community.
