IIBA.org From the Desk of Our IIBA Volunteer Administrator
This has been an exciting year for IIBA® and as the Volunteer Administrator, I am fortunate to constantly see the commitment and enthusiasm of our members as they work on a myriad of projects.

I would like to share with you a few statistics for 2016.

The Education, Standards and Research
Over 150 certified professionals have been engaged to help define and develop the Enhanced Certification program, and to work on the Competency Model and Agile Extension. This group of dedicated volunteers will continue to add their unique perspectives as we move forward with these and other important initiatives.

The Volunteer and Chapter Network (VCN)
This team of enthusiastic leaders supports the global Chapter community in delivering key messages and assists IIBA in meeting their strategic deliverables. Under the new leadership of Jared Gorai, VCN Chair, we look forward to learning more about the projects and successes from this very dedicated team.

Chapter Leaders
Chapter volunteers provide leadership to their IIBA communities, providing networking opportunities, professional development and helping to grow our membership.  Over 1,500 volunteers are engaged at the local Chapter level around the world as Chapter and committee leaders. They promote IIBA as the gold standard in BA certification and identify local strengths and assets that can be utilized in the development of IIBA global standards.

Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities
In addition to the great work in these three areas, we have 110 volunteers engaged in webinars, task forces, committees and in a Senior Advisory capacity.

How you Can Volunteer
  • Volunteer Opportunities are listed on our IIBA website. Feel free to return regularly for new opportunities as they become available.
  • A volunteer module is being developed that will allow each Member to create a volunteer profile. To complete the IIBA Volunteer Profile, Members will need to say "yes" to volunteering and provide a list of their skills. This will allow IIBA to search for volunteers based on the skills required. Watch for further enhancements to this module as they are developed.
