IIBA recently launched a 20% rebate for anyone looking to tackle a business analysis certification before the year ends! If you’re an IIBA member and purchase and complete any certification exam between November 1 and December 30, 2024, you’re eligible for this limited-time rebate.

Who’s Eligible? 

Only IIBA members in good standing can take advantage of this rebate. Not a member? No problem! Just sign up for IIBA membership before buying and booking your exam. This offer is designed to encourage certified, professional growth in business analysis, giving you a confidence boost going into 2025. 

How Does it Work? 

When you purchase and complete your exam within the specified dates, the rebate will automatically apply to your original payment method. Remember that the rebate is processed in US dollars and, due to potential exchange rate fluctuations, the refunded amount may vary slightly if you paid in a different currency.  

Expect the rebate to be processed by mid-January 2025.

Planning Your Exam Date 

One important thing to note is that you can’t take the exam on the same day you purchase it. This is due to scheduling constraints, and spots can fill up quickly, especially during a major promotion like this. 

Booking your exam as soon as you make the purchase is a wise choice—just to ensure you don’t miss out on your ideal time slot.

Payment Details 

To get the rebate, you’ll need to pay by credit card. Unfortunately, other forms of payment won’t qualify. For those looking at bundles (like the IIBA-CCA or IIBA-CPOA), the rebate applies solely to the exam portion, not to any additional bundled services. It’s still a great deal though! 

Some Exclusions

The rebate doesn’t apply to bulk purchases, volume purchase agreements, or Partner Program members. If you’re using other discounts or promotional codes, remember that you can’t stack offers—the exam rebate is a standalone deal. 

Need to Reschedule or Cancel?

Life happens! If you need to reschedule your exam, you’ll still qualify for the rebate as long as the exam is completed by December 30, 2024. Be sure to reschedule or cancel your exam at least 48 hours in advance and follow the terms within the IIBA Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy to ensure you can do so without forfeiting your exam fee.  

Do this well before the December 30 date to ensure there are still scheduling appointments available on the exam provider’s calendar.

What About Exam Rewrites? 

Sometimes exams don’t go as planned. If you need a second attempt, the rebate applies to exam rewrite fees as well, provided you rewrite within the promotion period. 

Application Fees

The rebate doesn’t cover application fees for specific certifications like the CCBA or CBAP, so make sure to budget accordingly.
