IIBA’s recent Global State of Business Analysis Survey (GSBA)[2] conducted among business analysis professionals showed that 92% of respondents recommend certification to support career development. Additionally, individuals who hold IIBA’s Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) certification earn a 25% higher salary compared to those without it. Similarly, those who hold a Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA®) certification earn 11% more.
Another interesting finding is 40% of business analysis professionals reported that their employers have a defined career path to advance their career and develop skill sets. The survey also revealed that respondents preferred:
