Registration Open for IIBA's BBC 2020

The call for speakers and registration for IIBA's Building Business Capability 2020 is now open.

While it may seem like we just wrapped up the 10th annual Building Business Capability conference, it is time to start preparing for this must-attend Fall event. This year the date has been moved up from November and BBC will take place in October 19th through 23rd in Las Vegas.

 

“BBC continues to grow and evolve getting better every year. I can’t wait to see what the next decade holds for BBC,” says Jared Gorai, CBAP, Director, Chapters & Membership Engagement. This year’s event will be in Las Vegas at the brand-new Caesars Forum which is connected to the Harrah’s Las Vegas hotel (by a covered walkway). Harrah’s has also been completely renovated.

Last year’s roster of speakers was stellar, and I’ve heard the selection committee anticipates another challenging selection process. If you are thinking of submitting an abstract the deadline for speaker tutorial submissions is February 14th and March 6th for conference sessions. The 2020 conference theme is “Igniting Business Agility” and all speaker submissions should tie into this theme.

“One of the best takeaways from last year was the level of engagement between attendees combined with the quality of the speakers. There was an inspiring feeling in the air that was electric, and attendees took that energy back to their work,” said Gorai.

Whether you choose to attend the two days of tutorials and the three-day conference or can only attend the conference, there will be great learnings you will take away from this event. Last year BBC offered 15 tracks and four trails with a wide choice of session themes and topics to choose from during the conference.
