Paying it Forward: Online Learning in a Time of Crisis
Professionals around the world are coming together during this difficult time. In the coming weeks it could be more difficult to continue ‘business as usual.’ If you are working from home, working with a reduced assignment or sitting on the bench says Jan Moons, CEO of The Master Channel [www.themasterchannel.com], a European training company that has stepped up to help make it easier to learn some new skills. The Master Channel’s LinkedIn post reads that the company is offering their platform free for the coming weeks and this has struck a chord with many people. In just four hours, they received over 6000 views, 210 reactions, 54 comments, and were approaching 100 shares – just from their local area of Belgium, Netherlands, UK and Germany.
In a recent LinkedIn post, Jan is reaching out to everyone doing analysis work, Product Owners, Product Managers and other IT professionals affected by the measures taken because of COVID-19 and is offering digital solutions to support businesses and Information and Communications Technology professionals.
In the post, Can e-learning offer a solution in times of the coronavirus1 Jan discusses the benefits of e-learning. Jan says this is just a small contribution to help where they can, but I think it is wonderful to see one of IIBA’s Endorsed Education Providers (EEP™) stepping up to help the global BA community.
