In Memoriam: Ken Fulmer  

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Ken Fulmer, a legend in our community. 

Ken, who served as IIBA® Philadelphia Chapter President, IIBA Global Board Chair, and IIBA President and CEO (2016 – 2019), passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022.  

Occasionally we sense and are grateful to be in the presence of a truly enlightening and wonderful person. Ken was such a person. Knowledgeable and practiced in many domains, he had been a long-time senior IT executive with several Fortune 500 corporations holding roles as CTO and CIO.  With all his experience, he had the rare ability to move seamlessly from strategy and leadership to deeply discussing grassroots business analysis with the best of us. 

Ken was passionate about learning, personally and professionally.  Among other accomplishments, he was an instrumental contributor to IIBA’s Cybersecurity Analysis Program, a joint learning and certificate program that provides key cybersecurity concepts and tools to business analysis professionals in the ever-changing digital landscape.  

Respected for his intellect, his analytical thinking, his professionalism, and above all his kindness, Ken, a friend to many, will be greatly missed.
