IIBA’s New President & CEO: Delvin Fletcher
I am pleased to welcome Delvin Fletcher, effective January 20, 2020, as the new president and CEO of the International Institute of Business Analysis.
For the last few years, IIBA has focused on improving access to many of the benefits provided to our membership and partners. We have worked with thought leaders to increase access to high value content and events that support ongoing professional development. There have been high value programs deployed to advance the business analysis industry, supported by the best content we could make available.
Last year when I made the choice to step down as president and CEO, I started a dialogue with IIBA’s Board about what type of leadership will be needed for our next phase of growth. I was very excited to work with Delvin because I knew he was going to be the right fit for IIBA. Everyone is eager to meet with him to share their ideas about the future direction of IIBA.
Delvin is an exceptional leader with strong experience leading organizations, most recently as Chief Information Officer with the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario). Delvin will bring both experience and focus to the table. His background in membership associations, information systems, public accounting, government, and not-for-profits will give him insights into working with IIBA's dynamic ecosystem and audience. Delvin will bring new energy to IIBA’s journey.
Delvin will focus attention on providing value to existing Members, Chapters, volunteers, and all stakeholders, as well as widening the sphere of IIBA to a broader audience. Delvin plans to engage the community collaboratively to move strategic initiatives forward and support the personal and professional growth of our members.
I will be staying on to provide support to Delvin during this transition period and will continue to be committed to our IIBA community. I’m looking forward to my next chapter which includes pursuing my Ph.D. and spending time with my family, including my new twin grandchildren.
I look forward to watching IIBA continue to evolve and grow. I am grateful to have been part of this journey.
Ken Fulmer, Senior Advisor and Former President & CEO of IIBA
