Membership Harmonization Brings IIBA Members New Benefits

IIBA Membership Harmonization offers new benefits including Chapter Membership.

We are excited to announce that IIBA Global Membership now includes Chapter Membership!

What does that mean? Before today, IIBA Global Members only had access to their local Chapter through a separate fee structure. Now, IIBA Membership includes access to every Chapter and any event in the world! IIBA Membership is one big global pass to hundreds of events and thousands of other business analysis practitioners to network, connect, and learn together. All existing IIBA Members who joined or renewed before May 4th were upgraded without any additional charge. You can join IIBA under our new fee structure any time here.

Connect with a Chapter Near You

IIBA Chapters have always been a key part of the IIBA community. Without the dedication of volunteers and Chapter Leaders around the world, IIBA would not be the thriving global network of business analysis professionals that it is today. Each Chapter Leader has been a huge part of bringing these communities together and will continue to grow them into a stronger network with Membership harmonization. Search our directory of IIBA Chapters here.

Chapters help IIBA Members develop lifelong connections, and professional development. Chapters across the globe offer virtual events (although we hope to return to having at least some in-person events in the future!) in different time zones and languages, and resources on their websites to support and advance your business analysis career. All IIBA Chapter websites are available to Members using their IIBA.org login credentials. Many events have non-Member event pricing if any non-Member wants to see what your local Chapter is all about. You can search for upcoming events here.

IIBA Connections: Network with the Community

Connections is IIBA’s new online global community. It is open to all Members, but it exists specifically to bridge the gap for professionals that don’t have a local Chapter nearby but want to network, connect, and learn with business analysis practitioners around the world.

You can find out more on our Connections webpage.

What Harmonization Means for Our Members

Over the past two months, we’ve hosted three webinar sessions with our Members to get their thoughts on united Membership. In the April issue of BAM!, we answered some frequently asked questions. Here are some Members’ comments* on their new upcoming benefits:

“This is amazing! I work globally...now, I can attend two chapters’ events with one membership.”

“Can't wait! THANKS for all the work to bring this about IIBA!!! Chapter leaders are excited! COME ON & CELEBRATE WITH 'US'!!!”

“Any kind of simplification deserves kudos. Thanks for harmonizing the membership fees payment.”
