Access to information has never been so quick and easy these days. 

As the means of translation, such as Google Translate, are diverse, the results can vary and have different meanings depending on the context. 

A bad or inaccurate translation will cause a waste of time and create frustration and perhaps even discourage the reader. 

This is why French-speaking volunteer business analysts from Montreal and Quebec have translated BABOK® Guide into French.   

 

Introducing the BABOK French Version for French-speaking business analysis professionals.

 

Here are some advantages: 

  1. Improve the practice of unilingual francophones 
    As in all professions, you always have to improve. Business analysts use BABOK Guide "A Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge" as a reference tool. However, for unilingual francophones, linguistic limitations prevented them from taking advantage of this document. 

    Now with the translated version of BABOK Guide in French, they will now be able to refer to it and take advantage of the methods and techniques offered there. 

  2. Get unilingual francophones out of isolation
    A language allows you to express your ideas and interact with others. When you don't understand what is written, you can't ask the right questions or make a good comment. The translated French version of BABOK Guide will make it possible for unilingual French-speaking analysts to read its content fluently. A translated BABOK Guide will not only be an enabler for increased IIBA certified candidates worldwide, but it will also entice others to join our profession without linguistic barriers, thusly contributing to exponential membership growth.

Let's hope that these advantages will encourage more French speaking Business Analysts to go on towards IIBA certification. 
Maybe one day the certifications examens will also be made available in French.

BABOK en français : un des moyens de répondre aux besoins des analystes d’affaires francophones 

De nos jours, l’accès à l’information n’a jamais été aussi rapide et facile.  

Autant les moyens de traduction, comme Google Translate, sont diversifiés, autant les résultats peuvent variés et avoir des significations différentes selon le contexte. 

Une mauvaise traduction fera perdre du temps et créera de la frustration et peut-être même un découragement chez le lecteur.  

C’est pour cela que des analystes d’affaires bénévoles francophones de Montréal et de Québec, ont fait la traduction du BABOK en français. 

Voici quelques avantages : 

  1. Améliorer la pratique des unilingues francophones 
    Comme dans tous les métiers, on doit toujours s’améliorer. Les analystes d’affaires utilisent le  Guide BABOK®«GUIDE DU CORPUS DE CONNAISSANCES DE L’ANALYSE D’AFFAIRES » comme outil de référence. Cependant, pour les unilingues francophones, les limitations linguistes les empêchaient de profiter de ce document.
