These exceptional individuals have gone above and beyond to strengthen their local business analysis communities. They have dedicated countless hours, expertise, and passion to support others and promote the profession. Their tireless efforts help ensure that business analysis professionals worldwide have the resources and networks they need to thrive.
Volunteers are the heart of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), connecting our mission with local business analysis communities across eight diverse regions: India, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, Americas Western, Americas Southeastern, Americas Northeastern, Americas Central, and our newest region, Latin America.
No matter where they’re located, these volunteers are united by a shared commitment to making a difference.
Regional Recognition and Global Impact
Finalists and winners for the Volunteer of the Year Award will be selected within their respective regions. This provides a platform to spotlight the regional contributions that make a global impact. It shows that the efforts of volunteers transcend borders, bringing value not only to their local chapters but to the broader business analysis community.
These nominees showcase the diverse and international nature of business analysis, proving that, regardless of where we are in the world, we’re all united by a common goal: advancing the profession and supporting our peers.
These volunteers do more than just organize events or lead initiatives. They build lasting friendships, sharpen their skills and develop new ones, and form connections that tie them to something greater than themselves. In return, they experience the profound personal and professional rewards that come from giving back.
Volunteering with IIBA provides the unique opportunity to engage with industry leaders, contribute to meaningful projects, and be part of a supportive and innovative community that drives business analysis forward.
Honouring Outstanding Achievements
Through the Volunteer Awards Program, IIBA proudly recognizes the remarkable achievements of volunteers worldwide. This program is an essential part of our efforts to celebrate the dedication and hard work of individuals who have made tangible contributions to the business analysis profession.
By highlighting the achievements of these outstanding volunteers, we’re also raising the profile of the profession itself. The program helps us showcase business analysis professionals as critical in organizations big and small, at every level and in every industry.
In this way, our volunteers serve as ambassadors of the Analysis Everywhere ethos.
The Power of Service
This year’s Volunteer of the Year nominees truly exemplify the power of service. Their dedication, leadership, and passion have significantly impacted the business analysis community, setting a shining example for others to follow.
Volunteering with IIBA is more than just a way to give back—it's a pathway to personal development, career growth, and building connections that last a lifetime. It’s a meaningful way to be part of something bigger, contributing to the development of a profession that’s expanding and diversifying.
