IIBA Governance

Good governance is the basis for our decision-making. IIBA global board of directors is accountable to the members and provide guidance, oversight, and appropriate risk management. Working together, the Board and the leadership team support IIBA's long-term success.

Join IIBA’s Board of Directors

The IIBA Board of Directors is seeking to recommend 1-2 new Directors to join the Board at our Annual General Meeting in June 2024. We’ll be partnering with leadership advisory firm Odgers Berndtson to support us in evaluating candidates. Our preference in this cycle will be for Directors who are either US-based or have significant US-based experience.

Our first priority will be a Director with skills and experience in strategic marketing, preferably in a technology-driven organization, ideally with analytical, performance marketing and global identity and brand-building experience. Candidates will also have leadership, and governance experience in either the for-profit or not-for-profit sectors, and a desire to serve in a profession-building setting.

Our second priority will be a Director with business analysis leadership skills and experience within the IIBA community, ideally holding IIBA’s most senior CBAP certification, and actively involved in center of excellence, community of practice or related organizational management roles.

Applications from those meeting the above criteria are encouraged prior to March 8, 2024, and should be submitted online here.
