Dr Terry Roach is the CEO and a Founder of Capsifi and the author of The CAPSICUM Framework for Strategically Aligned Business Architectures, the title of his 2011 PhD thesis from University of New South Wales.
In a 20-year career in senior executive positions at global technology vendors (including IBM, Apple, PeopleSoft, and Oracle) he worked on dozens of complex business transformation projects across North and South America and Asia Pacific. What began as an academic thesis has evolved into The CAPSICUM Framework - a comprehensive methodology, Jalapeno - a semantic modelling platform and Capsifi - an innovative global software business.
Terry is originally from Zimbabwe and subsequently lived in Botswana, South Africa, New York, and Brazil before making Sydney his home in 2001 with his wife Amanda and their 4 boys. His bachelor’s degree was in Computer Science from Rhodes University South Africa. He was admitted to Mensa in the 99th percentile in 1986.
