Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to use Orange and Dark Blue?

These are our primary colours so they should always be used. Pay attention to legibility of your design and use common sense when applying colours.

If you have questions, email us at

Can I use the secondary palette instead of the primary colours?

Orange and Dark Blue are the dominant and recognizable colours of IIBA. The secondary colours should not be dominant.

Why does the orange look different on my screen?

The CMYK colour mode is for printing and RGB is used for screens. Sometimes colours appear slightly different between colour modes. To ensure you are on-brand be sure you are using the correct version of the logo for your application (CMYK or RGB) and use the brand colour values in this guide.

Can my group or event have a logo?

We follow a standard model of brand architecture. Check the brand architecture for sub-brands, and partnerships and co-branding. If you have questions, email us at
