Update on BABOK® Guide V3

babokAs the definitive guide and the internationally recognized standard for the business analysis profession, the BABOK® Guide is a comprehensive and essential tool for the practice of business analysis.
Earlier this year, IIBA® undertook an extensive public review of the BABOK® Guide, and heard from over 5,500 people. Over the last three months, IIBA has working to address all of the feedback provided during the public review and now IIBA is focusing on preparing for the exciting launch of BABOK® Guide V3.

BABOK® Guide V3 will provide users with greater value and support as it expands the scope to business analysis beyond information technology projects, and outlines the skills and knowledge professionals need to create better business outcomes and drive business success. The new version of the BABOK® Guide reflects growing industry demand for business analysis professionals to focus on business success. Version 3 of the BABOK® Guide lays the foundations for business analysis professionals to link strategy to execution and drive innovation and improvement throughout the enterprise.

Bringing Together the Voice of the BA Community
The BABOK® Guide V3 is the product of a truly global effort that brought together 70 volunteers from 20 countries spanning business analysis professionals from 15 industries. It was led by a nine-member committee of recognized thought leaders in business analysis representing six different countries.
