Being a BA - Technical Excellence: From Use Cases to Requirements, Part III

Presented by Tom Karasmanis, IIBA
When eliciting and documenting requirements, should we capture them with use cases or with traditional functional requirements? In Part I we looked at use cases and their limitations and how the various requirements types complement use cases. In Part II we looked at writing good requirements and how use cases and requirements work together. In this third and final instalment of the series we will look at some more advanced requirements topics like managing scope and requirements and a more detailed look at the relationship between use cases and requirements.
Upon completion of this session you will:
  • Learn techniques to effectively manage scope
  • Understand traceability between requirements and use cases
  • Learn about managing requirements
