Deb Oliver started her career in Marketing Research and Project Management. In 2006, working on IT projects for a leading edge Loyalty Marketing Company; she acquired the taste for Business Analysis, and hasn’t looked back since.
 
Over the years, Deb has honed her skill set as a Business Analyst to deliver on capability in the realm of website re/design, system procurement, technology upgrades/ enhancements, data migration and process improvement. Her experience in enterprise-sized projects has strengthened her commitment to focus on how to manage the impact a capability change has on all aspects of an Organization’s environment.  
 
In 2013, Deb obtained her Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) designation. Most recently, she has taken on an exciting new role as Product Manager, within IIBA®.  In the role of Product Manager, Deb will leverage her experience and drive to further the growth of the Business Analysis discipline through the creation and improvement of essential resources to support Business Analysis practitioners, as they deliver better business outcomes for their respective Organizations.

Jen has an energetic passion for the BA role and for finding ways to inject innovation and creative techniques into how BAs do their work.  

Jennifer is a Past President of the IIBA® Minneapolis-St. Paul Chapter, an award winning chapter.  Within the IIBA community, Jen serves on the Chapter Support Committee and lead the IT Perspective team.

Heather Mylan-Mains

Heather is from Des Moines, Iowa. She grew up there, pursed her bachelors and graduate degrees there and stayed to raise her family. She is a stimulus for change as a mom, a business analyst consultant and Chapter leader for IIBA®.

Heather has worked as a Business Analyst for the past 15 years, she has worked with a variety of project teams to identify and solve many problems and challenges. Her experience includes projects of all shapes and sizes, and managing diverse teams. 

As President of Central Iowa Chapter IIBA® and member of IIBA chapter council she has a passion for sharing the power of the Business Analyst role and promoting the importance of that role in every business. Under her leadership, the Central Iowa Chapter IIBA® has grown to be one of the most active chapters in the organization. The chapter was awarded the 2011 Inaugural IIBA Growth Chapter of the Year due to exceptional growth. Heather is a natural collaborator in her BA role and engages people at all levels in organizations. 

She has been fortunate to work through all the processes of business analysis in the SDLC and be able to participate in many roles in projects. There is no part of the RACI matrix she has not been responsible for! Heather has a BA in Accounting from Grand View College and an MBA from Drake University and is a CBAP®

Tom Karasmanis

Tom Karasmanis is a Senior Consultant with over 25 years experience in IT, including roles as a Business Architect, Business/Systems Analyst, Project Leader, Technical Architect, and Software Engineer. He has worked in publishing, healthcare, public sector, financial services, insurance, supply chain, telecommunications, and retail.

Tom served as the Chief Architect of the IIBA® from 2009 to 2011. He is now Product Manager & Host of two IIBA webinars: Vendor Showcase and Being a BA: Technical Excellence. Tom is a management consultant in enterprise business analysis and business architecture, and assists organizations to deliver successful solutions and build their BA practices. He speaks regularly at international conferences. 

Tom holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto and lives in Toronto, Canada
