Facts about IIBA Certifications
- Certification is available to anyone who performs "business
analysis" as defined
by A Guide to the Business Analysis Body of
Knowledge®
(BABOK® Guide). Candidates do not need
to have the job
title "Business Analyst" to seek certification.
- Currently, the certification examinations are offered in
English, but other
languages will be launched based on demand.
- In addition to the CBAP® and
CCBA® designations, IIBA will consider
offering additional
certification programs in the future based on demand.
- Certification candidates are not required to be IIBA members in
order to become
certified
