Facts about IIBA Certifications

  • Certification is available to anyone who performs "business analysis" as defined by A Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK® Guide). Candidates do not need to have the job title "Business Analyst" to seek certification.
  • Currently, CBAP® and CCBA® exams are offered in English, and Japanese. The CBAP® exam is also available in German. Other languages will be launched based on demand.
  • In addition to the CBAP® and CCBA® designations, IIBA will consider offering additional certification programs in the future based on demand.
  • Certification candidates are not required to be IIBA members in order to become certified
